About this blog
This blog has no specific topic it’s more a story.
Once in a galaxy far far away… wrong beginning sorry.
It was not too long ago when a MVP for security came back from the MVP summit at Seattle. After the Summit this MVP travels along the US west coast. When he returned he showed a strange German guy who grew up in Italy but now was living in Germany the photos he took and narrow the great things he saw.
That night the strange German guy from Italy made a promise. If he became a Microsoft MVP they will do a travel together. 3 years later on October 2007 the strange German guy from Italy get a MVP nomination mail. The same night the two guys both MVP now started to plan their journey.
The strange guy became MVP for Live Developer which Microsoft changed in MVP for Windows Live Platforms (better I’m really no developer!). The strange guy was me, Stephan Walcher, and I’m running “some” blogs. The most important one is a German blog about the Windows Live Writer (http://www.live-writer.de) the offline blogging tool from Microsoft.
The Windows Live Writer is not only a offline blogging tool which you can use instead of the blog backends. You can use it even if you don’t have an internet connection. You can writer and prepare your blog post just in the moment you want and add pictures you take 5 seconds ago. Right now I’m going to Milano Malpensa airport
This blog will be a self experiment. Is it really possible to blog without an internet connection? Which problems are we going to have? How are we going to solve them? Do you have any ideas? And obviously Windows Live Writer advices from the road
As you can seen this blog is more than a typical journey blog, it’s a self experiment with you who can interactive anytime by contacting us by mail or through the comments.
